The purpose of this project is to construct a supply line to transport treated water from the South Water Treatment Plant to Pump Station 16. The Low Head C Supply Line will connect the Low Head C Pump Station to the existing Bailey County Well Field Supply Pipeline which delivers water to Pump Station 16. This project is part of the Strategic Water Supply Plan adopted by the City Council on February 28, 2013.

The Staff and Evaluation Committee recommend award of the unit price contract to the highest ranked proposer, Garney Companies, Inc. of Midland, Texas, for the total contract amount of $8,915,699.95. The time for substantial completion of the project is 300 consecutive calendar days form the Notice to Proceed date. This contract is awarded by the unit price and actual expenditures may be more or less depending on field conditions. |
