Resolution - Aviation: Consider a resolution approving and ratifying the actions and signatures of the Mayor regarding Contract 15555, with Vogel Paint & Wax Co., Inc., for the runway and taxiway marking paint at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.
Item Summary
Paint for runway and taxiway striping must be suitable for use on concrete and asphalt surfaces. The paint must meet Federal Specifications TT-P-1952E Type II water-borne lead free paint. All paint shall be delivered in 5-gallon sealed containers. Deliveries shall be within 7 days of notification.

Staff and Airport Advisory Board recommend contract award to Vogel Paint & Wax Co., Inc. of Orange City, Iowa, for $37,994 per year. A bid tabulation is provided.
Fiscal Impact
Funds of $37,994 are available in Airport FY 2020-21 Operating Budget for this purpose.
